Creative thinking is the single most important tool of human beings. To solve a problem one
must think creatively. Without this capacity humans would never have developed farming,
housing, metal making, weapons, city states, chariots, cars, computers, space travel or the
internet. The Arts (meaning any thing that must be made by humans) are always about solving
a problem and the Artist (meaning any skilled person that applies his abilities to create
something new) is the problem solver. If you don’t fit into the Artist category you’re just
occupying space without paying your rent. Creativity is the rent you pay for the privilege to occupy
your space on the planet. Have you paid your rent?

The Muse Creative Workspace is where the Artist makes things happen for the purpose of
expressing positive individual ideas to a larger audience which then produces other ideas in
them of which they express to others and the process continues ad infinitum.

The Muse Creative Workspace borrows it’s name from the muses of Greek mythology. Although
folkloric in nature with many historical versions of muses spread throughout antiquity, the
English translation of the word means inspired. Therefore, it can mean inspired by “other” than
ones self such as the environment, the universe, the multi-verse or simply a verse from another.
Spiritually it can mean inspired by God. Regardless of the definition, Muse Creative Workspace
simply means inspired creative workspace. The name implies that participating artists and
visitors can and should expect to be inspired to create great works which are useful for the
development of inspiration in others that we encounter and in all that participate here at MUSE
CREATIVE WORKSPACE.
